Fastener specialist Seac has launched an improved range of glazing packers, designed to suit all window profiles. They have an integrated flat and bridge packer function, allowing installers to stock just one variant and giving them the confidence that they are fitting the appropriate packer. All glazing accessories are moulded using premium grade materials that are resistant to deterioration and unaffected by sealants. According to the company, the packers guarantee glass alignment and squareness as well as maintaining the correct weight distribution. Packers are colour-coded and generally have a standard length of 100mm. They are available in widths varying from 20 to 32mm and each comes in thicknesses ranging from 1 to 6mm.

Designed to eliminate the need to stock a wide range of diameter clamps, any size from 20mm diameter can be cut from the Stranglehold banding system from SEAC. Typical applications include HVAC, particularly ducting insulation or joining. At the top end of the range is an 11mm banding made from stainless steel.
