Ryegate Farm House in Stanstead Abbotts has been renovated with products from the Sadolin woodcare range. The restoration of the dilapidated farm house involved the replacement of the existing cladding. Shipland timber panels were employed for the exterior, coated with Sadolin Extra durable woodstain to provide protection for the wood.

Built to provide a single aspect solution to the educational requirements of the community, Mossbourne Community Academy is an award winning school designed by the Richard Rogers Partnership. Protecting the three-storey building?s timber frame are woodstain products from Sandolin. The building comprises two structures: a blockwork diaphragm wall, and a glulam softwood timber frame tied together and supported through the cores and the top lit atria. The structural timber is glulam, using European softwood. Exposed timbers have a hardwood capping integrated into the timber assembly to prevent corrosion. All externally exposed softwood was coated using a three coat Sandolin system. The company?s quick drying wood preserver was applied for a base, followed by a base coat of Sandolin Classic and a top coat of Sandolin Supercoat in light oak.
