Following the Buncefield oil depot fire in December 2005, curtain wall engineering specialist Structura was appointed to replace the curtain walling to the damaged north elevation of the four storey Breakspear Park building in Hemel Hempstead, including a new entrance façade and glazed revolving door. The glass screens surrounding the main entrance were also replaced, and additional curtain walling treatment was carried out by Structura to an ajoining building.

Over 200 pieces of special, royal blue coloured, reflective Luxguard glass have been installed as part of the refurbishment of a curtain walling system at Network House, Kings Langley. Carried out by Structura UK, the remedial work is part of a ?5 million refurbishment of the three-storey building, which had been left unoccupied for years. Structura's work included removing existing aluminium frames, bonding the new glass and refitting the 24mm thick windows.

In a high profile development, Structura UK has supplied and installed the double-glazed aluminium windows and doors for Harrods Court, Knightsbridge. An exclusive, gated development of 14 luxury residential apartments, the ?5 million building was converted from existing office space to exacting standards by Bailey Lewis, architects and interior designers. The company's tilt and turn windows, sliding/folding patio doors and balcony doors are finished in a dual colour - Harrods green on the exterior and white in the interior - and incorporate concealed Avantec fittings. Structural also supplied the toughened glass, main entrance door and screen, and glass canopy above.

All-glass automatic sliding doors and screens with slim 30mm aluminium sections from Structura have given a new appearance to the entrance of 101 St Martins Lane, London. One set of automatic doors has replaced an old manual revolving door, and a second set forms a new lobby into the building's reception area. The doors consist of an integral system of 10mm clear, toughened, glazed units measuring some 3.70m high and 5m wide, and were specified for reliability, safety and aesthetic qualities.

New entrances for Ealing Council's headquaters at Perceval House, have been supplied and installed by Stuctura UK. The doors consist of slimline aluminium profiles with high levels of draught-proofing performance. The company also provided a bolted, glass-type canopy above the entrance.
