Queue Management - Tensator Ltd

A queue management system from Tensator has been applied in Uxbridge High School's refectory area. The system consists of Tensabarrier Advance Dual-Line posts, which feature double webbing for extra security, as well as four-way connectivity. All Tensabarrier products have anti-tamper locking tape ends and a webbing brake system.

First for queue management - Tensator Ltd

At two First TransPennine Express stations in Manchester Airport and Huddersfield, Tensator has completed the installation of its Tensabarrier queue management system. The Huddersfield installation included an eQ electronic call forward system, whilst at Manchester Airport a curved Tensaguide barrier was applied in the company's corporate colours. Staff operate an audible announcement which triggers a visual prompt on the LED display. A separate activation control is provided for each counter.

True blue colours - Tensator Ltd

Designed to reduce waiting times, the Everton FC club shop has installed Tensator's eQ electronic call forward system. The system operates on a first-come first-serve basis. It calls customers forward by the operation of an audible announcement which triggers a visual prompt on the 'Everton Blue' display. The product can cover an infinite number of positions and has a separate activation control for each counter. It is programmable with stereo audio and has custom voice and message capability. The voice announcements, alert sounds and directional arrows used are suitable for the visually impaired. Available in LED or LCD versions, the system runs on a pre-programmed memory chip or PC and is set up using Windows-based software.

Air traffic control - Tensator Ltd

Virgin Atlantic has installed Tensator's eQ equipment at desks in Heathrow. It utilises a push button for a display and audio annoucement to direct passengers. The software monitors peaks and troughs of the day to allow forward planning and can cover up to 44 positions separately. The large units can display promotional information too.

A system was designed which takes advantage of the company?s stylish curved beam system to deliver improvements over the old queuing method.
