Tudor Roof Tile's Traditional range of hand made nibbed plain tiles are being utilised as an authentic and cost-effective alternative to sourcing reclaimed tiles, says the manufacturer.
Tudor's Traditional range is made from English natural clay to provide an aesthetically pleasing textured roof. The tiles provide a 'time weathered' double camber, with their subtle variations in shape and colour.
Tudor's tiles combine craftsmanship with modern performance benefits.

Handmade roof tile manufacturer tudor roof tile co has introduced a new peg tile specifically designed to complement listed buildings and heritage properties.
Made from the finest English natural clay, the âconservation peg tileâ, has been re-developed with a gentle double camber and meticulous detailing.
The warm tones and variation in the shape and texture of the sand faced surface helps to recreate the aged, time weathered look of the ancient peg tiles of Kent, claims the company.
The range is hand pressed, moulded and trimmed. It is then further enhanced by advanced firing techniques that give âexceptionalâ performance and durability. The conservation range comes is available with both square and round peg holes, which will accommodate a variety of wooden pegs.
Tudor also offers the inclusion of a single ânibâ, formed on the top edge of the tile, which allows single tiles to be placed and hung on roof battens without the need to remove surrounding tiles. This is of particular use when replacing single tiles.
