Designed to secure tiles to the verge of the roof in order to keep the exposed edge dry and to prevent wind uplift, Ubbink's Dry Verge system is suitable for new build and renovation specifications.
Designed for tiled roofs, it is suitable for batten gauges from 265 to 345mm. The system has a slotted inter-connection for ease of installation and it is available in lengths of 2.4m. Two versions are offered; one for thin and fibre cement slates, and the other for thicker double lap natural slate and composite slate.
For use in ventilation systems, Ubbink has introduced a foam insulated duct system. Designed for ease of installation and performance, it is an alternative to flexible ducts. In 125, 150 and 180mm diameters, it is rigid and will not burr when cut. Self sealing push-fit sockets provide ease of installation. Provided in 2.25m lengths in a grey colour, the system achieves sound reduction and thermal capabilities.
Ubbink
Accompanying its whole house heat recovery units and central extraction units, Ubbink has introduced a new three speed wireless control unit.
The slim line switch can be attached to any internal wall, without external wiring. It enables the user to run the unit at three speeds; one for a normal background speed, another for a standard speed, and the third for a boost speed.
Each unit can be controlled by up to 32 control units.
Providing indoor air quality with continuous controlled ventilation, Ubbink?s central mechanically assisted ventilation systems (MAV) have been employed in a run down Listed Grade II house in the South East. Providing subtle extraction from kitchens and bathrooms a roof mounted fan was used to minimise outlets.
