Improving lighting levels and reducing energy costs, PulseStart High Output 400W lamps from Venture Lighting are being used in all new Matalan stores. The lamps are being installed alongside the company's i-pac ballast and ignitor control gear to provide illumination on the sales floor.
Incorporating high bay fittings supplied by Llumarlite, the PulseStart 400W lamps produce a white light with colour uniformity and optical accuracy. Their high output means that fewer luminaires are necessary to enhance the visual environment.
Venture offers more than 350 metal halide lamps ranging from 50W to 2000W plus 11 different wattages of energy efficient Uni-Form pulse start systems for industrial and commercial applications.
Combining the P-range ballast with the Mci series igniter, the i-pac system from Venture Lighting ensures performance from the company?s metal halide lamps. All ballasts in the P-range are precision wound. A winding wire provides thermal and electrical durability and a long ballast life. The Mci Series is a digital, intelligent timed igniter. It does not add heat or power, increasing its efficiency.
Specified for both interior and exterior lighting, metal halide lamps have been supplied by Venture Lighting for the new Costco warehouse in Milton Keynes.
Inside, 400W lamps are used in Prismalume high bay luminaires, connected to remote electronic ballasts. Outside, 450W lamps in Holophane Vista Grande post-top luminaires were used, alongside Seattle floodlights.
Illuminating the exterior of the new South Derbyshire Acute Hospitals PFI project are lamps from Venture Lighting. The company's 400W, high output PulseStart lamps were chosen for the feature lighting around the entrances, using 200 fittings from Whitecroft Lighting, the lighting designers for the project. A combination of Whitecroft?s Sirocco Spoke post-top fittings and wall mounted Euroflood mini floodlights using 150W Venture lamps we used to pick out architectural features.
As part of a new initiative from the National Galleries of Scotland, Venture Lighting has supplied its metal halide lamps for use in specially designed luminaires from Sugg Lighting, surrounding both the Royal Scottish Academy building and the National Gallery of Scotland. The Playfair Project involved the creation of additional educational facilities in a subterranean link building. Existing lighting around the RSA Building was also reinstated. An important element of the brief was to enhance the night time appearance of the buildings with a high quality white light, while also ensuring long lamp life to reduce life-cycle costs. This was achieved with modern replicas featuring metal halide lamps. Luminaires are mounted on cast iron columns at the perimeter of the buildings.
