A straight-forward and cost effective solution to problems of access has been offered by Watco with the Portable Access Ramp. Although made from aluminium and with a 300kg loading capicity, the two models are comparably light, weighing either 8kg or 13kg, and therefore being easy to carry and fold up for storage. The Ramp has a tough, slip resistant surface as well as being pre-drilled for wall hanging in storage or for fixing to a substrate to be a permanent feature. It is available in two lengths - 900mm for step height up to 150mm and 1500mm for step height up to 250mm. The ramp is suitable for pedestrians, pushchairs, wheelchairs or sack barrows.

As part of its safety products range, Watco has introduced Safety Edge GRP - a textured finish stair nosing that is supplied pre-drilled to simplify installation. Two grades are offered - medium for inside use, and coarse for outside. The grp base is tough enough to resist stretching, warping and swelling.

Designed to seal and waterproof bund areas and coat storage tanks, Watco has produced its Bund Sealer. A black, two part tar extended epoxy resin, the Bund Sealer is applied by brick to brick, concrete or blockwork. It can be applied to wet surfaces, and will protect metal and concrete structures.

Slip resistance for ramps, walkways, bridges and other surfaces can now be provided by Watco safety tread GRP sheet. The sheet is trimmed with a hacksaw and glued to a reasonably dry substrate using Watco?s adhesive mastic, or it can be drilled and screwed in place. It is available in yellow, black or stone.
