Following the launch of 'hidden' tile drains, Waterworld Solutions has introduced its second generation of channel drains designed for wet room applications.
The stainless steel channel drain only needs a 75mm deep by 90mm sqaure hole to be excavated for any lenght of drain from 300 to 1000mm. On each side of the central draon point the channel tray has a sloping base which directs water towards a 50mm diameter waste pipework using the adaptor supplied. The system is topped off with a lift-out cover available in a choice of grdae patterns.
Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk-based Waterworld Solutions has been appointed sole UK distributor for the Van Den Berg Dutch-made range of drainage products.
The range includes a selection of stainless steel low profile drains which provide a solution for wet room applications while a fully tiled floor is required.
For example, the TG ZU and SG ZU models offer a choice of eight sizes from 100mm up to 1020 x 200mm with standard draining capacity of 25 litre/min. These units contain a lift-out stainless stell tray, into which one, two or tiles are bonded, with water draining away via a continuous eight mm wide channel around the inserted tray.
