Air conditioning systems at four job centres in the South of England have been supplied and installed by Weatherite Building Services.
At Margate, the company installed a Sanyo gas powered VRF system known as the Eco-g. The system was specified to provide an energy efficient solution. With nitrogen oxide emissions 66% lower than current EU standards, the company claims, the product is included on the Energy Technology list.
A range of twin split air conditioning systems were also installed across all the sites to provide energy efficiency.
Wall-mounted cooling equipment in new I.T. rooms and a lecture theatre in the St John's Wing at Walsall Manor Hospital has been provided by Weatherite. The project also called for the removal of R22 refrigerant and a routine maintenance check on three existing ac units. As a member of Constructionline, the company is in the government's register of companies pre-qualified to work in the public sector.
Unable to hang the canopy from the roof, Weathertight Building Services has designed a special self-support system fabricated from steel hollow section as part of a the installation of a kitchen ventilation system at a school in Telford. The stainless steel island extract canopy and ductwork includes a ?spine? distribution system which enables various utilities to be brought together in a single unit. The ventilation system can be wall or island mounted.
