Achieving the same thermal efficiency as 35mm of glass fibre, the Foil-Clad FR from YBS Insulation is a vapour permeable enclosure providing a complete rain-screen, suitable for agricultural and industrial installations. Water entering across the cavity runs away over horizontal laps in the same way as roofing layers. The bubble pattern on the reverse of the aluminium foil permits any water vapour entering the wall to escape. It is fire retardant with a u-value below 0.35 W/m?K.

Therma-Close Type R 'Fire-Stop' from YBS Insulation is a fire retardant rigid window installation system that can be used with any type of pvc-u or timber framed window. The system is designed to allow the fitting of window frames complete with a fire rated cavity closer in one operation. It has a 60 minute fire rating certificate and can provide a solution to cold bridging problems.

According to tests conducted by BSRIA, a wattage output of 0.85w/m² is achieved when YBS Insulation?s SuperFloor Foil-Tec (single) insulating membrane is used. This, the company claims, provides a heat output which is 20% more efficient than the nearest system. The membrane is just 1mm thick.
