Providing an ever-changing environment in London's new Deep restaurant, Zumtobel Staff Lighting has installed a dramatic lighting scheme. The main focus is an active light ceiling in the entrance area and two parallel strips of active light wall panels in the interior space. These panels constantly change colour and intensity, with the Emotion control providing 16 different scenes. In the bar, lighting with a strong linear effect was achieved with the Slotlight luminaire. The restaurant area has lowhung Luco Pendant lights for intimacy, and Perluce ceiling luminaires provide illumination and a distinctive atmosphere in the kitchen.

Evio is the new suspended luminaire from Zumtobel Staff Lighting. A departure from conventional luminaire design dominated by aluminium and powder-coated surfaces, the Evio is wrapped in laminated wood with a rich walnut or finely grained beechwood finish and Eternit, a thin non-combustible roofing and cladding material made from fibres and cement. Unlike standard louvres, assembled from a series of components, the Evio offers a one-piece injection moulded louvre featuring rounded cell edges enabling optimal diagonal anti-glare protection. Evio is available in both direct/indirect lighting options, offering flexibility.

Harmonising to generate a soft yet bright luminance, a combination of diffuse and direct light features in the 2Light luminaire from Zumtobel Staff Lighting. Light that directly emits via reflectors also channels its way through a diffuse front component. Sculpted into a ring shape, the diffuser causes direct light to be softened as it penetrates through the translucent structure. Three different module sizes are available, bringing a high degree of flexibility to a wide range of lighting requirements. Being a totally integrated system, it also offers easy cleaning.
