Coram Showers Etcher opens the options |
Coram Showers has extended the glass finish option for its Premier range of shower enclosures. It follows the installation of a glass etching machine at its manufacturing facility.
The options include an all-over satin finish and two stylish etched modesty panels which are available for both flat and curved glass enclosure designs. These can be used, together with plain glass, in almost any combination, providing design flexibility. For example, the Quadrant enclosure could feature plain glass doors with modesty panels on its two side panels, or a clear Frameless Swing door could be combined with an all-over satin semi-frameless side panel.

Knauf Drywall Top marks for a speedy finish |
A superb finish and full marks for speed and neatness have put machine applied MP75 plaster from Knauf Drywall at the top of the class on a secondary school building site in Oldham, Lancashire.
With a single machine, a team of three plasterers and a labourer is well on the way to completing the 22,000mē project involving 220 tons of plaster comfortably ahead of schedule.
Knauf MP75 is described as a fast and tough alternative to traditional two coat plasters, and one of the most productive building materials on the market. It is a fast-drying projection plaster specially formulated for one-coat machine application on most interior walling surfaces. It is particularly suitable for surfaces such as brickwork, blockwork and concrete.
Supplied in 25kg bags, Knauf MP75 is machine mixed with water to yield about 28 litres of wet plaster to cover around three square metres at an average thickness of 1cm.
The plaster is machine-applied to wall in horizontal bands, then simply ruled and floated manually for a durable, smooth white finish. It is available abrasive proof and fire retarding and is ideal for decorating or tiling.

Aqata Shower Enclosures Walk in shower screeen is glass to glass |
Shower enclosure maker Aqata, has introduced a glass to glass shower screen. Called Minimax, it is said to be easy to install and has spans of curved or straight glass suitable for use with shower trays and wetrooms.
Available in sizes from 1200mm up to 1600mm wide with a standard height glass of 1950mm, the system combines in-line and corner glass panels, which join together using a roll and click system. This was developed by the company to provide maximum strength and rigidity.

Kinedo Watertight enclosures are silicone free |
The Capricorn range of self-contained shower cubicles from Kinedo need no use of silicone sealant in installation to make them waterproof.
Two features of the range are durability and flexibility. The Capricorn 6mm collection, for example, features telescopic adjustment so that one door will fit many tray sizes. This removes the guesswork from deciding which size door to buy. All glass surfaces are coated with CristalPlus to prevent the build of lime scale.
All Kinedo's self-contained cubicles and accessories, depending on the model, have either 4mm, 6mm or 8mm toughened safety glass to BS6206 Class A with a CristalPlus finish.
Specifiers have hundreds of styles of shower enclosure to choose from.
Kinedo claims to have invested design and production time to make shower products to provide what architects and specifiers require.
