The company's dedicated stairs factory in Melton Mowbray has recently been kitted out with a quarter of a million pound's worth of bespoke equipment to produce the flights, all of which have been accredited to meet British Standards. Laying the floor required careful planning to give each section sufficient time to cure before doing an adjacent colour, avoiding any bleeding across colours. Finally, a clear matt seal was applied to create a smooth, tough finish.

Entrance matting specialist, Emco, has provided a solution for the foyer of Yorkshire's tallest building, Bridgewater Place. Emco, the only company able to provide the curved matting, used 49m² of its own Marschall and Radial brand. A rigid aluminium frame was used, and the coarse fibre inserts fitted inside it.
