Geometric angles just got sharper in the bathroom, thanks to the precision-cut manufacture of Crosswater's new Logic brassware collection.
Improvements within the ceramics industry has recently seen the edges of square basins become noticeably sharper, making original cubist brassware seem almost curvy in comparison.
Brassware manufacturer Crosswater has embraced the very latest machining technology to ensure its Logic range is as cutting edge as the sanitaryware it complements. Suitable for use with water pressures below 1 bar, the Logic collection provides an ideal option regardless of the installation equipment.
The Logic collection, which is finished in crisp chrome, includes an array of products, including deck-mounted bath fillers, a choice of four basin fillers and seven shower valves to suit all project requirements.
An anti-drip worktop profile from GEC Anderson is proving popular with schools and hospitals, where hygiene and cleanliness are paramount concerns.
Headlands Primary School in Northampton and St Bartholomews Hospital in London have had the stainless steel worktop installed, which rises over a 20mm distance at the edge to a height of 3mm.
It can be applied to front, rear and side edges and is compatible with other edge profiles and surface finishes available on GEC Anderson worktops. It can be used on stainless steel of both domestic and acid resisting grades.
Martin Tye, GEC Anderson MD, said: 'It provides a practical barrier to stop minor spills, or items rolling off the worktop, that could damage under-sink cupboards or the floor below.'
Franke has extended its range of cooker hoods with a new collection. Leading the 40-strong portfolio is the novel Swing FSW 908 hood which boasts a black glass and stainless steel exterior façade that swings open in the middle to reveal inset lighting.
This eight speed touch control extractor features an optional remote controlled option, along with 24 hour continuous ventilation which provides a constant flow of fresh air in the kitchen all day long.
Franke also offers aluminium cassette grease filters which can be removed and put in the dishwasher, in addition to optional charcoal filters for containing odours.
The extractor is designed to be quiet, and features an illuminated digital display.
Prima Kitchens, the value kitchen brand of the PJH Group, has added the new Malvern kitchen to its collection of furniture designs.

A new collection of wall and floor tiles from Imperial Bathrooms is sure to add an authentic natural look, say the manufacturers. The Naturals Collection bears the illusion of natural stone courtesy of modern manufacturing processes. The appearance of real marble is achieved by a surface patina, yet the tile is as resistant to corrosion as its synthetic counterparts.
Coram Shower Pods has extended its current range of innovative shower pods with the launch of the 950mm Quadrant pod, a luxury corner design which is said to combine watertight protection with straightforward installation.

Peter Dimeloe, managing director of Coram, said: 'The Quadrant pod brings a new of element of style and luxury to our current range of robust, leak-free and maintenance free shower pods.'
The pods are finished in silver and can be fitted with a choice of two mixer showers, either mounted or built in.

Combining both fixed and flexible heads within one showering unit, each features pulsating body jets, multi-mode handset and shower rose with built in diverters.
The range includes both manual and thermostatic controlled models, and is available in either a glass or aluminium finish, fitted with a ceramic disc.
With between three and six body jets, each model in the range also offers a combination of single and multi-mode showerheads in both colour options.
