Fabricator Paterson Windows has completed the final phase of a window replacement project at Northumberland College. The project involved the installation of some 500 casement windows and curtain walling from LB Plastics. Driven by low comfort levels in all parts of the building, which was draughty in the winter and poorly ventilated in the summer, the first phase of the programme included the installation of double glazed Sheerframe 6000 casement windows. In phase two, curtain walling grids with 45 individual window modules and nearly 300 casement windows were installed.
