The zero flame, zero heat system is suitable for any building where hot works are normally used, allowing works to be carried out without having to close or evacuate the building. Cricket Green Community Special School in Mitcham, Surrey has recently employed the new system. The school had an asphalt roof that was allowing leaks into the classrooms below. Asphaltic, the contractor, chose the Cold Fusion system for its speed of installation and cold application. The Asphaltic team laid the flat board installation directly onto the existing asphalt roof, a carrier membrane was then placed over the insulation onto which went the cold applied Decothane seamless ?sap sheet?.
