The system has been developed using the technology of the company?s VISS curtain-walling system but is presented without mullions and transoms, allowing it to be hung on almost any type of supporting steel substructure. The VISS Basic is also compatible with standard VISS systems, providing the opportunity to mix and match. Based on the dry/pressure glazing system, the steel beam curtain-walling has been designed to offer excellent acoustic and thermal insulation characteristics. It incorporates varied interface details to deliver weather performance up to 600 Pa and a full range of system components provide design flexibility.
