 Queens College, London, one of the longest established girls? schools in the country has had its public face restored with the use of Weathershield paint products from Dulux Trade. The college is housed in a magnificent Georgian building. For its front door the Weathershield exterior gloss system was chosen. With a flexible undercoat and high shine gloss the system is designed to tolerate the minor expansions and contractions of wood in a temperate climate. For the stone sections the choice was Weathershield All Seasons masonry paint. Allowing water vapour to pass through the paint surface, any moisture in the stone can escape into the open air, rather than causing lifting and bubbling of the paint surface.
