 Motor retailer HR Owen has opened a new BMW and MINI showroom on Western Avenue in London. To reflect the quality of its brands, the clean, modern lines of the exterior was created using rainscreen cladding panels, fabricated from the aluminium laminate Reynobond, manufactured by TecTel. Reynobond panels were specified for their versatility as the architects were faced with a number of structural challenges such as tapered soffits and deep reveals around the building's glazed sections. Its structure is designed to offer flexibility, ease of installation and minimal maintenance. It can be engineered into flat or complex shapes and has recessed joints with no visible fixings, offering a seamless finish.
