For the new headquarters of TTPCom at Melbourne Science Park in Hertfordshire, a solar shading system from Levolux has been specified to control light, glare and solar heat gain. The company's aerofoil fin system provided the solar control required, reducing the need for air conditioning whilst adding to the architectural appearance of the building. The 300mm fins, fabricated as one piece extruded aluminium sections, were mounted into the support structure, blending in with the building.
