Inside the NV Building in Salford Quays, which has already made its mark on the Manchester skyline, feature 22mm Oak Nature floors from Tarkett. The NV Building comprises 246 luxury apartments on 16 levels with views across the Manchester Ship Canal. Alongside the classic Oak selected for the building, the company also offers exotic species such as Doussie and Ovengkol. The multi-layer construction of the floors locks the movement of the wood in the boards and counteracts each layer's natural movement. The Oak floor at NV was nailed on battens and the architect chose a Proteco lacquer finish to make the floor more hardwearing and resistant to scratches.
