 Launching a new wireless burglar alarm called Vocalis, Logisty claims to have a product that is five times faster to install than a comparable wired system. Installation involves no wiring or mains connection. Voice messages from the product assist the contractor in the process, confirming the system is operating correctly when it is finished, as well as identifying problems from simple diagnostics. The control panel-siren receives information from detectors and controls and triggers alerts and deterrents, whether siren, strobe or telephone dialler. It communicates between devices using an anti-jam twinpass radio frequency. A personalised radio house code ensures there is no interference between adjacent systems. The product identifies up to 15 zones, with interior motion detectors and door and window contact detectors, available in four types. It also offers a presence simulation mode which randomly switches lights on and off.
