Rio manual speed variation pumps, Riotecs with continuously variable differential pressure control and Riotherm service water circulators have been selected along with Etaline single- and twin-models. The pumps have been installed in plant rooms located throughout the hospital to provide heating, hot water and service the chilled water system. The company states that the Rio is a ?maintenance-free? wet rotor pump (glandless) flanged or screw ended with three speed levels. The twin pump version can be used for standby or peak load operation. Riotec is a wet rotor pump (glandless) with flanged end and integrated frequency inverter for continuously variable differential pressure control. A twin-pump version of Riotec is also available. The Riotherm is also described as maintenance free wet rotor pump (glandless and screw ended) with three speed levels. Etaline is a close-coupled, in-line pump with standardised motor.
