For the new central office of the National Trust, Levolux has installed its solar shading solutions, providing a range of internal roller blinds and an external, perforated aluminium shading solution.
The company supplied the manual roller blinds in complementary colours including shades of green, grey and red, forming a patchwork effect across the building.
Chain operated, the roller blinds are made from a semi-translucent material which enables light to pass through them, whilst controlling glare. A saw tooth shaped canopy on the south side of the building was achieved by mill finished panels fixed between galvanised steel posts, assisting in the reduction of solar heat gain.
