Stone sets up new store - Burlington Slate Ltd
Natural stone from Burlington has been utilised on Lakeland's flagship store and headquarters in Cumbria.
The stone has been used to create a curved feature wall with picture window openings to the south side of the head office as well as Kirkby blue/grey weathered and random walling stone features. Fronting the store is a curved glass fa?ade that abuts an external wall also created out of the company's stone. A wall mirroring the external application has been implemented within the store.
It has also been used as solid masonry to create the gate house and the transformer and generator housings.
