 Recommended by the M&E consultants for an apartment development in London, a direct acting electric underfloor heating system by Devi was installed into the timber floor construction which is overlaid by carpet, wood veneer flooring and vinyl. The products were specified to allow for free wall space.
The individual areas served by the system, within each apartment, are controlled by devireg 550 thermostats.
These two-in-one thermostats control the heating system based on a combination of temperature - through a built-in room sensor and a floor sensor - and an 'intelligent' programmable timer.
By identifying the rate of heat loss from a room, the devireg 550 knows when to start heating in order to achieve the selected temperature at the right time. This temperature control ensures energy efficiency whilst also providing optimal comfort levels.
