When in a tight corner - Lindab Building Products
Installers can specify LindabSafe ductwork from Lindab in tighter corners with the BKU range of short bend components. The range has an inside radius of 0.6 times diameter with minimum loss of flow rate and efficiency.
Supplied with the joints already sealed, the components push together ready for fixing and are designed to meet DW 144 class C for air-tightness with no need for taping. They are available from stock as 90? bends in six diameters from 80mm up to 160mm. A further six sizes up to 630mm diameter are available to order.
The BKU gives a pressure drop of some 30 Pascals for a flow rate of 100 l/min in 125mm diameter duct compared to 15 Pascals for the same diameter and flow with the standard LindabSafe bend.
