Product Review - Eternit UK Ltd
Planning for a public space - Eternit UK Ltd
Creating a natural look for the roof of a new public library in Lewes, Marley Eternit used its range of Acme clay plain tiles.
The new library had to comply with planning guidelines with the company's Smooth Red and Natural Orange Acme chosen for their handmade appearance which complemented the exaggerated Flemish bond blocks of the building.
Contractors used a random mix of both tiles, in an 80:20 ratio, to create a blend of colours for the seven pitched roofs over an 800m? area. The Acme double cambered clay plain tile is easy to install and is durable enough to withstand the elements of the Sussex coast.
