Floorcoverings from Tarkett have been installed in the main entrance areas of the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.
Two colours of Megalit - from the company's iQ range of products - in 560m? of grey and 180m? of blue, were used throughout the foyer area. The product features colours based on three themes; natural, urban and contemporary, and incorporates flakes of different shapes and sizes. Due to the high proportion of transparent material in the mix, the pattern has a richer depth and variation.
Vinyl floors from the company do not require polishing with a 'third generation' polyurethane reinforced treatment reducing maintenance costs. The product is also classified in Class T, the highest wear group, and has Building Research Establishment Certification, which recognises its environmental credentials.
