A new vision for Children's Ward - Tarkett-Marley Floors Ltd
Assisting patients and visitors with impaired vision through the corridors of the Children's Ward of Southampton University Hospital are Tarkett iQ vinyl floorcoverings.
The in-house NHS architect specified a combination of Granit and Optima iQ vinyls in a pallet of vibrant colours. These floorcoverings have been brought together to create designs which includes circles to lead patients through the hospital. Ease of cleaning and hygiene standards are ensured with the products, and savings in maintenance costs of 30% are also provided, the company claims. A third generation PUR reinforced treatment is provided which offers a cleaning regime that does not require waxing or polishing
