 An inverter driven, energy efficient outdoor VRF unit, with both compressors and fan motors, has been launched by LG. The Multi V Space offers up to 10dBa quieter than other equivalent capacity systems, the company says.
It can be sited inside a plant room with the fans facing outwards on a louvered wall or exterior grille, and requires 900mm front access. The sirocco fans reject the heat away from the outdoor unit to the left and right which prevents short cycling. Systems are available in 5 or 10 hp, in heat pump option only.
One unit can control up to 16 indoor units including cassettes, ducted, and wall mounted, with control via a PC and the internet.
