Building on its reputation as a provider of efficient underfloor heating solutions, DEVI is launching the Danfoss range of air source heat pumps.
The product supplies heating and hot water simultaneously, helping building owners to enhance their 'green' credentials and more than halve their energy costs.
For every unit of energy used to extract heat from the air, a Danfoss Air source heat pump produces at least three units of energy. As they use renewable energy and produce no emissions, they offer a very sustainable and environmentally friendly form of heating.
With a compact footprint of around half a square metre, the Danfoss heat pump range can be installed anywhere where there is an outside wall to site the external air module to extract energy from the air.
This could include rooms such as a kitchen, utility room or garage. It can operate with wet underfloor or modern radiator heating systems.
These heat pumps employ high quality control systems to regulate the supply of heat at source and claim to save up to 15% compared with traditional technology.
At the heart of the heat pump is a scroll compressor. These have fewer moving parts than conventional compressors.
