As part of a refurbishment project, Tormax was contracted to install a new glass frontage, including an impressive curved-sliding automatic door system, to the main entrance of Procter & Gamble’s Technical Centre near Newcastle. Powered by the Win Drive 2201 door operator, the curved-sliding door creates a prestigious entrance for staff and visitors and is enhanced by matching tinted glass panels to all sides. With only an eight week period in which to complete the installation, the team co-ordinated work to effectively deliver the end result on time and within budget.
Since its launch two years ago, the Win Drive 2201 has become one of the top-selling Tormax™ door operators. Incorporating a patent-pending component fastening system, installation time is effectively reduced to a minimum which is essential on fast turn-around projects such as the Procter and Gamble installation. .
