When Sheffield Hallam University's Centre for Sport and Excercise Science was looking for an unobstrusive method of suspending a number of it exhibits at a recent international exhibition in Beijing, it called on Sheffield-based Gripple.
Each Gripple hanger comprises a length of steel wire rope, a patented self-locking device to adjust the free end, a setting key and a choice of end fixings.
The company donated the hangers, which were used to suspend a range of sporting equipment at the Beijing Sports Science Exhibition. Dr David James from the centre, said: 'One of my colleagues once worked at Gripple and had seen first hand the total versatility of Gripple hangers, which were quickly and easily installed and complemented our exhibits perfectly.'
