The Balena 8000 Care is aimed at improving the quality of life of people who have difficulty using a conventional WC. Geberit say that people with limited mobility often have to rely on assistance and therefore experience a loss of privacy.
The Balena 8000 Care shower toilet is intended to put an end to this. It combines all the functions of a conventional WC and bidet with the comfort of warm air drying and odour extraction. Other features include a strengthened seat ideal for transfer from a wheelchair. The company also offers an optional soft seat which, it says, has been designed to fit perfectly onto the existing seat and ensures extra comfort when needed. The shower toilet can be installed at a comfortable height to ease side transfer.
