AEI Cables is to provide cabling for the fire alarm system of Sunderland's Civic Centre. Over 7,500 metres of 1.5v two-core enhanced cabling will be installed at the Civic Centre. The 1.5 two-core enhanced cable is appropriate where risk assessments have been completed and there is an agreement that a softskin cable with a lower survival capability than a mineral insulated product can be installed. AEI Cables Firetec Enhanced is pliable, relatively easy to install and ideal for demanding or complex situations meeting all the requirements of BS5839.
