Installed within the kitchens at the new Wembley Stadium is a hygiene ceiling from AMF Ceilings. Thermaclean is a white vinyl foil laminated mineral tile with a durable washable finish and Bio-Pruf surface treatment making it resistant to bacteria and fungi.
The product was recommended as it met the required hygiene standards and was cost effective. It was installed on a 1200mm by 600mm non-clip grid system to enable easy access to the ceiling void and offers fire protection to BS 476: parts 20-23.
Part of a PFI schools project in Rotherham, acoustic tiles from AMF Ceilings have been installed in 15 of the areas schools to achieve the necessary acoustic levels. The company's Thermacoustic dB ceiling systems are being installed in a number of areas including kitchens, classrooms, music rooms, drama rooms and a gymnasium. The systems were specified as a result of SRL (Sound Research Laboratories) tests, which found that the product met BB93 requirements in terms of both sound absorbtion and sound insulation.
