Topping off the restaurant
A new Pizza Express restaurant in Manchester's Trafford Centre has Abet's Legni collection of woodgrains applied within its interior.
To achieve an aesthetically pleasing interior, Lief Design specified a mix of materials, furniture, imagery and colour in order to give the restaurant an individual appearance.
Laminate from the Legni Speciale Collection has been used to clad the walls of the new restaurant. The product has a 'booth dining' configuration and complements the oak panelling, natural stone and rich grass-green sprayed glass to create a simple yet defined area. Strength and durable properties are combined with a 'warm' appearance.

Over 300m? of Oberflex Straight-grain Bookmatched Anegre in a satin finish was specified. The product combines the properties of a wood veneer with the performance of a high pressure laminate. Slicing during manufacture provides alternative straight-grain or flowered veneer for a book-matched or random-matched result. Chosen for the refurbishment of Lakeland stores was Parqwood real wood veneer HPL flooring from Abet. A real oak finish has been provided with the properties of a high pressure laminate, including durability, ease of maintenance and resistance to marking.
