Significant energy savings can be made by replacing standard light switches with push-button timers, and Adaptaflex has launched its Energy Saving promotion to encourage course of action. The range of Elkay pneumatic and electronic push-button timers is particularly suitable for hallways, corridors and staircases, as well as general purpose use. The timers afford run times that can be pre-set during installation, ranging from 1sec. up to 2hr., allowing the appropriate duration to be set for a given application. Their use alleviates the problems of lights being left on continuously when nobody is using the controlled area, providing significant energy savings and rapid payback for the units.
