All Saints Church in West Dulwich has been fitted with three Stratos-HSSD (High Sensitivity aspirating Smoke Detection) systems from AirSense. This follows a fire that swept through the church in June 2000. During reconstruction, the parish took the decision to fit a very early warning fire detection system, and the Stratos was selected due to its ability to provide the earliest detection possible. The system is the ideal solution for heritage buildings such as churches and cathedrals where ceilings are normally high and therefore contain large open areas.

Protection for the largest scientific facility to be built in the UK for over 30 years is to be provided by Stratos ? High Sensitivity Smoke Detection from AirSense Technology. Early warning aspirating detection was important in the specification of the fire detection system, with some 76 Stratos ? HSSD detectors installed. These are equipped with ClassiFire-3D perceptive Artifical Intelligence technology. It permits the detectors to 'condition' themselves to suit the environment of the main synchrotron building. The Stratos recognises the earliest signs of fire but can also adjust to the sensitivity needed to 'track' minor and normal smoke density fluctuations.

Seven smoke detection units from Airsense Technology's Stratos-HSSD range, and 1500m of sampling pipework, have been installed at an Airbus assembly centre. A laser-based, aspirating system, it provides an early warning through ClassiFire, a system of perceptive artifical intelligence, which adjusts the detector to allow it to maintain a consistent level of performance.
