Protecting the hotel bedroom voids and corporate hosptiality area at Coventry FC's Ricoh Arena, four Stratos-HSSD units and a number of Stratos-Micra aspirating smoke detection systems by AirSense Technology have been supplied. The Stratos range of high sensitivity aspirating systems provides an incipient fire detection system. It incorporates a Perceptive Artificial Intelligence system known as ClassiFire, which allows it to automatically adjust and maintain optimal sensitivity levels for most environments. An impeller draws air into the sampling pipes through calibrated sampling points, which then passes into a laser detector chamber. The Laser Dust Discrimination within both of the systems supplied prevents unwanted alarms to occur as a result of dust particles getting into the system
