A new product has been added to Andrews range of high efficiency condensing water heaters. The new ECOflo glass-lined, thermally efficient, storage water heater features a low NOx pre-mix power burner that is quiet in operation. There are seven models in the range, offering two storage capacities of 230 litres and 380 litres with heat outputs from 35kW to 79kW and recovery rates of up to 1400 l/hr at 50?C. A three pass flue system moves hot flue gases at high velocity which causes a high rate of heat transfer into the water.

Expansion of the Maxxflo condensing storage water heaters range from Andrews has resulted in the addition of a 100 litre version. The Maxxflo CWH30/100 has an output of 30kW and a storage recovery time of 12 minutes with a nett efficiency of 109%. Primary return to the burner module is from the bottom of the tank allowing up to 80% of the tank volume to be heated in condensing mode. The operating principle of the product provides anti-legionella protection and there is a built-in anti-legionella function. Also integral to the unit is a digital controller with a BMS interface.
