Certification to LPS1208 on fire resistance requirements, for elements of construction used to provide compartmentation, has been obtained by Haironville TAC's range of Promfire composite wall panels. The products are a range of panels comprising of rock mineral wool insulation sandwiched between two steel facings. In order to achieve LPCB Certification, the panels had to undergo tests on a range of different panel thicknesses and fixing regimes, with proof that they were resistant for up to two hours. Manufactured from non-combustible components, they have also been tested to the latest European fire standards.
