An addition to a landmark development in Liverpool has been combined with the claimed versatility and quality of Ash & Lacy's Ashtec rainscreen cladding system.
The company provided over 850mē of marine quality, anodised vertical rainscreen panels for the multi-storey car park at the Kings waterfront scheme. The car park combines Ashtec panels in staggered block layout, with a silver satin finish in keeping with the rest of the project.
Utilising Ash and Lacy's colour headed fasteners in goosewing grey with Ward insulated composite panels, an extension has been completed at a distribution site for Focus DIY.
The Ashfix range of stainless steel, carbon steel and colour headed options provide a fixing solution for light and heavy section built-up and composite panel applications.
Fastener lengths are available to accommodate current construction elements and drill points are designed for UK steel thickness. This provides hole diameter to thread engagement which maximises the holding power performance. All fasteners are available with Grade 66 uv stabilised integral colour heads.
Teaming up with Keronite, Ash and Lacy has created a new finish for its Ashtech rainscreen cladding system. Keronite has developed a process called Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation which transforms the aluminium substrate surface into a ceramic coating with resistance to corrosion, heat and wear. Ash and Lacy's rainscreen cladding system is a three layer laminate, of two precoated aluminium sheets thermally bonded to a polythene core providing protection from wind borne rain and ultra-violet rays.
