An Ashzip standing seam roofing system from Ash and Lacy has been specified for a school in Derbyshire due to its durability and performance properties.
Some 4000m? of Ashzip 400 were installed on the new-build areas of the school. As part of the package, walkable liner sheet with plain and perforated absorbent linings was supplied to meet the necessary acoustic requirements. The system is available in parallel and tapered aluminium, coated steel and copper.
Built on the site of an old school, the new Deri View Primary School in Abergavenny, South Wales, has been completed with a curved Ashzip standing seam roofing system in a Merlin Grey finish from Ash and Lacy.
In an exposed location, airtightness and thermal performance were paramount in the selection of a suitable roof system. The installation included site welded details at 90? junctions between the curved on section roofs.
