A clay cladding system from Baggeridge has been used in the extension of King's Mill Hospital in Nottingham.
The Corium system was applied over the Kingspan steel-frame modular building, with over 800m? of Red Sanded, Smooth Red and Blue Corium tiles applied on four elevations as well as being used for feature banding.
As the system could be fitted at speed, it was used because of the time constraints of the 12 week project. It has been developed in conjunction with Terrapin International and Corus.
Following deterioration to its exterior, South Yorkshire Fire Station in Doncaster has been refurbished using Corium, Baggeridge Brick's clay cladding system. Some 120m² of the tiles, in speckled buff multi were specified to re-clad the administration block which incorporates the office and domestic facilities spanning two floors.
