Introduced in response to legislation for the hearing impaired, Bosch Security Systems has launched the Plena Loop Amplifier. The product integrates inductiveloop hearing-aid facilities into the public address and voice alarm system, allowing hearing aid users to hear announcements or music within a selected area. It is EVAC compliant, which means the system is suitable for providing essential emergency voice alarm facilities to support evacuation situations in public buildings and commercial premises. A Plena system will integrate with new or existing sound systems in public areas of up to 600m?. The master slave configuration supports lowspillover and quadrature audio system design, for high quality audio reproduction.
