Reducing summer temperatures from over 30?C to 22?C at Asset Demo's factory in Earl Shilton near Leicester, a Breezair evaporative air conditioning system has assisted in improving conditions in the factory. Three injection moulding and five vacuum forming machines caused temperature rises within the 3000 ft? factory. It was subsequently calculated that only one Breezair EA Air Cooler would be needed to overcome the problem. The cooler was installed on an outside wall with air ducted through the wall and via a grille into the factory. The company claims that its product provides sufficient cool air to drive all of the hot air out of the building. As fresh air is continually drawn from outside, then passed over a water-saturated medium, cooled and washed, any recirculatation of air is avoided. Suitable for use in both commercial and industrial applications, it is applicable in a range of different industries, including agriculture, manufacturing as well as residential buildings.
