Concrete block paving by Brett Landscaping has been applied to a car park next to the site of Northampton Town Football Club.
The company provided its T-flow permeable paving as a water runoff and drainage solution which supports Sustainable Drainage Systems - a design for surface water management to replicate natural drainage. T-flow is named after the T shape gap formed between individual pavers which are filled with 6mm aggregate, allowing water to penetrate.
Safety for vehicles using toll booths on the Forth Bridge in Scotland has been provided by Trief high containment kerbs from Brett Landscaping and Building Products.
The kerbs were used around the eight toll booths to prevent vehicles from encroaching onto the toll booth islands. Speed reduction is encouraged by constrained space created by the product's high face. The concave recess of the kerb provides a visual caution, prompting drivers to steer away. If a vehicle veers towards the kerb, the recess traps the bulge in the tyre wall and redirects the vehicle back onto the carriageway in a line dictated by the kerb.
